Easy Hawaiin Spare Ribs

Ingredients
  • 5 lbs pork spareribs, cut into pieces containing two to three ribs (babyback or St. Louis cuts will also suffice)

In a large pot, combine spareribs, garlic, ginger and salt. Add water to cover spareribs; bring to boil. Lower heat and simmer 2 hours or until spareribs are tender. Drain. Combine sauce ingredients in a large bowl; add the ribs and marinate overnight in the refrigerator.

Cooking Instructions
Place the ribs on a hot grill or over a fire; grill the ribs (basting with the remaining sauce) until they become slightly charred; about 7-10 minutes on the first side and 5-7 minutes on the second side.
