Ninkasi Brewing Sleigh'r Dark Doüble Alt Ale
Aroma:
Yeast and spice nutty with a little bit of fruit.
Appearance:
Semi-translucent copper color with a thin cream colored head. The head quickly dissipates and leaves minimal lacing.
Taste:
Rich malty flavor with hints of caramel and spice. It finishes dry with a slight bitter hop flavor that lingers.
Overall:
Unlike some of the past beers in the series, this one wasn't trying to be all things to all people. I found this to have a well-rounded aroma and flavor which I enjoyed.
