Bison Brewing Organic Gingerbread Ale

Aroma:
Dominant ginger and spice notes but not much else and not overwhelming.

Appearance:
Pours a deep brown/black with a medium thick head that is cream/tan in color.  Heavy rings of lacing remaining.

Flavor:
Starts off with a light molasses flavor and finishes with medium gingerbread as expected but with bitter tones.

Overall:
I was underwhelmed with this beer.  The flavor was thin and predictable to begin but the lingering bitter finish was not expected.
