Blue Ridge Overland Gear Announces MOLLE Panel for Engel MT45

Your kitchen at home should be as organized and precise as the one you take on an expedition. So we’ve designed our newest MOLLE panel to fit the MT45 Engel fridge. This panel is MOLLE/PALS compatible. The front is also made entirely of hook and loop Velcro, which allows you to attach any combination of small MOLLE/PALS pouches.

Attaching the panel to you ENG45 cooler is a breeze. Two brass eyelets at the top corners allow attachment to the fridge handles with the original screws. We also provide a strip of stick-on Velcro to secure the panel’s bottom edge to the fridge. Now you can store your cooking supplies with ease!
Made of 500D cordura. 12”x12” square grid. Made entirely in the USA.

Pelican announces the new iM3410 Pelican Storm Case‏

I will be honest, when I first saw Pelican's announcement, I emediatly though about how this might be a perfect case to store camping gear on a low-profile roof rack.  Even better would be to combine the new iM3410 case with a set of the (EO)2 mounting systems we reviewed last year.
Tripod, musket, pogo stick, there is nothing too long for our new iM3410 Pelican Storm Case. At 54.50" (over 4 1/2 feet) in length, it will go the distance.  Guaranteed for life and made in the USA, the long and trim iM3410 features built in wheels and handles for easy transport. And, as with all Pelican Storm cases, it is watertight and dustproof.

Our Overland H2O System Featured on Expedition Portal

Chazz Layne featured Living Overland's 12-Volt Overland H2O System on the front page of Expedition Portal.  In his write up, titled 'Water System in a Can', Chazz installs one of the DIY kits on a Scepter water can.  Living Overland has been selling the water systems, a design developed by our very own Beau Johnston, since 2013.

We are truly thankful for Chazz's coverage of our little water system project!  Be sure to check out the below link and Chazz's other work -- great stuff!

Tiktaalik™ announces the The Field Knife Set

The Field Knife Set consists of a 3.5” pairing knife, a 6” serrated knife, and a 6” Chef’s knife made from Sandvik 12C27 Swedish Stainless Steel. Sandvik is a Swedish steel manufacturer founded in 1862 who has been perfecting this speciļ¬c steel, originally intended for surgical blades, for over 45 years.

The Field Knife Set was born out of a desire to evolve, simplify and distill the traditional cooking knife into a tool equally appropriate for indoor and outdoor use without compromising on performance or quality.

The Field Knife is designed based on how chefs utilize their knives, using the pinch-grip holding method, which results in less reliance on the handle. The unique design makes the Field Knife compact, lightweight and easy to clean, with improved ergonomics and balance. The Field Knife Set is scheduled to launch on Kickstarter in June of 2015.
