Video: Back From The Brink - Sauger
Wyoming, like many other western states, has suffered from substantial droughts the last few years. An average decline in snowpack over the last several years has stressed many of the state's fisheries, resulting in a decline in the overall number of fish in some streams. One of the hardest hit species was the Sauger, a member of the Percidae family and close relative to the walleye. I love seeing government agencies coming together to save this unique species.
